The layout is very efficient, and allows you to add music from either the Splice library or iTunes. It allows you to choose either photographs or clips that you have on your iPhone. It has all the features you’ll need to create videos on the spot. You can use Apple’s trim feature within the program if you still need to edit the video. The player head can also be dragged, and your video will play in preview as you see where to put your FX. With a swipe of your finger, you can sync your video with your audio by moving the tracks along the timeline. The sound FX library comes with about 18 basic sounds. It’s set up in a straight-forward style with tracks laid out in rows. You don’t need to read a tutorial to figure out how to complete a project. What I liked about the app was that it was very intuitive. At $1.99, it’s a reasonable price for a basic video editor. We do miss the ability to pan and zoom across an image, and are puzzled by its antiquated export procedure, but aside from that, it’s definitely worth a look if you’re in the market for a new video editing tool.Splice brings your photographs and movies to life!
